Warranty Policy
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Our Warranty Commitment
At ELinks Innovative Technology Limited, we are committed to providing customers with quality laptops that meet our standards for performance, reliability and functionality.
Every laptop sold by ELinks is carefully selected and inspected before being made available to customers. To provide additional peace of mind, eligible laptops come with a 30 Day Warranty and 90 Days Customer Support, subject to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. 30 Day Warranty
ELinks provides a 30 Day Warranty on eligible laptops from the date the customer receives the product.
The warranty covers verified hardware or functional defects that arise under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
The warranty is intended to protect customers against qualifying product faults and does not cover damage or problems resulting from misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications or other exclusions stated in this policy.
3. What the Warranty Covers
Where applicable, the warranty may cover verified hardware or functional issues affecting the normal operation of the laptop.
Examples may include:
- Hardware components that develop a qualifying fault during the warranty period.
- Failure of a covered component under normal operating conditions.
- Functional issues that are confirmed to be caused by a hardware defect.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment by ELinks.
4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage or faults resulting from circumstances outside normal use, including:
- Accidental or physical damage.
- Cracked or damaged screens caused by impact or pressure.
- Liquid or moisture damage.
- Damage caused by dropping or mishandling the laptop.
- Damage caused by improper use or operation.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Damage caused by third party parts or accessories.
- Damage resulting from electrical surges or unstable power where applicable.
- Cosmetic wear and normal signs of use.
- Software, applications, viruses or files installed by the customer.
- Loss of data or files stored on the laptop.
- Issues caused by misuse, neglect or failure to follow reasonable operating instructions.
5. Software and Operating System
Software related issues are generally not considered hardware warranty defects.
Customers are responsible for their personal files, applications, software configurations and data. Customers should maintain appropriate backups of important information.
ELinks is not responsible for loss of personal data, files, applications or software configurations during warranty assessment, servicing or repair.
6. Warranty Claim Process
Customers experiencing a suspected warranty issue should contact ELinks customer support as soon as possible.
To help us assess the issue, customers may be asked to provide:
- Order number or proof of purchase.
- Customer name and contact information.
- Description of the problem.
- Photographs or videos where necessary.
- Other information reasonably required to diagnose the issue.
Customers should not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify the laptop before contacting ELinks, as unauthorized repairs may affect warranty eligibility.
7. Warranty Assessment
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment by ELinks.
We may perform diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the reported issue and whether the problem falls within the warranty coverage.
If the issue is confirmed to be covered by the warranty, ELinks will determine the appropriate resolution based on the nature of the fault and the circumstances of the claim.
8. Warranty Resolution
Where a qualifying warranty claim is approved, ELinks may provide an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement of a faulty component or replacement of the product where reasonably necessary and available.
The specific resolution will depend on the nature of the fault, availability of replacement parts or products and the outcome of the warranty assessment.
9. 90 Days Customer Support
In addition to the 30 Day Warranty, ELinks provides 90 Days Customer Support from the date the customer receives the laptop.
Customer support is intended to assist customers with reasonable questions and guidance relating to their purchased laptop, including basic usage, setup and general product assistance.
The 90 Days Customer Support period is separate from the 30 Day Warranty and does not extend or replace the warranty period.
Customer support does not mean that hardware faults occurring after the warranty period are automatically covered by ELinks.
10. Warranty Period
The 30 Day Warranty begins from the date the customer receives the laptop.
Once the 30 Day Warranty period has expired, qualifying hardware issues are no longer covered under the standard ELinks warranty unless a different warranty period is specifically stated on the relevant product listing or sales documentation.
11. Used Laptops
ELinks US Grade A Used laptops are carefully selected and inspected before being offered for sale.
Because these laptops are pre owned, minor cosmetic signs of previous use may be present. Such cosmetic characteristics do not automatically constitute a warranty defect.
The warranty applies to qualifying functional or hardware issues in accordance with this policy.
12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to use and care for their laptops appropriately.
Customers should:
- Handle the laptop with reasonable care.
- Use the laptop according to its intended purpose.
- Keep important personal data backed up.
- Contact ELinks before attempting repairs or modifications.
- Provide accurate information when submitting a warranty claim.
13. International Warranty Claims
Customers outside Nigeria may be eligible to make warranty claims subject to the same applicable warranty terms.
However, international customers may be responsible for shipping, transportation, customs or other costs associated with returning a product for inspection or service, depending on the circumstances of the claim.
Customers should contact ELinks before sending any product internationally for warranty assessment so that appropriate instructions can be provided.
14. Warranty Does Not Affect Your Other Rights
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Policy Updates
ELinks Innovative Technology Limited reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy when necessary.
Any changes will be published on this page with a revised update date.
